The Brazilian Journal of Health Aromatherapy and Essential Oil (BJHAEO) maintains clear and strict policies regarding advertising in order to preserve editorial independence, scientific integrity, and the trust of its readers, authors, and reviewers.

Separation of Advertising and Editorial Content

All advertising content is clearly distinguished and fully separated from editorial content. Advertisements are not part of the peer-review process and are not reviewed, endorsed, or approved by the editorial board or editors with regard to scientific merit.

Acceptable Advertising

Advertisements must be relevant to the journal’s readership and aligned with ethical, legal, and professional standards. Advertising content must not include misleading claims, unsubstantiated scientific assertions, or the promotion of unsafe, illegal, or unethical products, services, or practices.

BJHAEO does not accept advertisements that conflict with its scientific mission, ethical standards, or editorial independence.

Approval Process

All advertising materials are reviewed by the publisher to ensure compliance with the journal’s advertising policy, ethical standards, and applicable regulations. The journal reserves the right to reject or remove advertisements at any time if they are deemed inappropriate or inconsistent with these policies.

No Influence on Editorial Decisions

Advertising has no influence on editorial decisions, peer review, acceptance, rejection, or publication of manuscripts. The presence of advertising does not affect the evaluation of submitted content, nor does it imply endorsement by the journal, its editors, or its publisher.

Transparency and Accountability

BJHAEO is committed to transparency in all aspects of its publishing practices. Any potential conflicts of interest related to advertising are managed in accordance with the journal’s editorial and ethical policies.
